The first story that we have heard comes from Bart of Los Banos, CA. It is one of the most aggressive stories we have heard, but we are happy to relay the ordeal:

"My friend was attacked by one of these monsters! Were having a great time on a night dive at the dock in Monterrey and this thing just jump on him. He never even had a chance. We dragged him out of the water and ripped the thing off. There was blood all over his arm. When we got him back to the truck, he said that it hurt, but the idea of red cauliflower eating him was by far the worst part."

Another story we heard is from DeseRee of Berkeley, CA.

"I have seen the Metridium Vampiro many times on my dives and have spent hours communicating with them. They are gentle creatures, and truly deserve the name 'metridium', or 'the gentle one'. There are few people who can truly appreciate an animal that can take root when needed but is also wanders throughout its amazing environment."
